Dan Galli is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and Principal of Daniel J. Galli & Associates. Dan began his financial services career in 1986 following a successful career as a public school teacher. His practice includes a wide range of products and advisory services. Dan specializes in retirement planning for professionals, small business owners, teachers and other individuals; designing qualified retirement plans, maximizing savings and managing assets.  He is a registered representative and investment advisory associate of Ameritas Investment Corp. (AIC) with FINRA Series 7, 63, 66, and 24 registrations.

Dan also works with PFE Advisors, LLC. He travels nationally for PFE, providing educational workshops for employees of companies such as PepsiCo, Analogic, Axcelis, Reader's Digest, Exelon, The Mathworks, Illinois Power, MasterCard, AARP, World Kitchens, Northern Trust and others. 

From 1997 to 2005, he served as an adjunct faculty member on the staff of Northeastern University in Boston, teaching courses in their CFP® program on Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits as well as Insurance and Financial Planning.  In 2005, he became a guest lecturer at Boston University, teaching Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits.  Dan also teaches the Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits portion of the Kaplan/Bisys/BU Review for the CFP® Comprehensive Examination.  He teaches Boston University's Virtual on-line Class for Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits.  Dan also updates all of these courses as tax laws, regulations and limits are changed.

Dan has been a contributing writer to Jack Keir, Inc. a provider of educational materials for CFP® study.  He has been featured in the Boston Sunday Herald as part of their Money Makeover series on individual financial planning and has been quoted in the Boston Globe and Boston Herald as well as other major publications.  From 2000-2004, Dan was selected by Medical Economics for their list of "150 Best Financial Advisors for Doctors".  He has been named a Five Star Wealth Mananger by Boston Magazine, February 2011.  Dan also serves on the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association of MA.

 

Dan holds a B.S. from Boston University and an M.Ed from Bridgewater State College. He taught professionally in public school for 11 years prior to beginning his financial services career.  Dan is also a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) as well as a Certified Financial Planner™.  He challenged and passed the CFP® Comprehensive Examination in 1997.

Dan lives in Marshfield, MA with his wife Louise and has two grown children, Michael and Lauren.
