Lauren serves as Chief Operating Officer providing management, leadership, and strategic planning. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University School of Business earning an MBA with dual specializations in Finance and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Lauren was previously the Managing Director of Finance, Operations, and Human Resources for The Phoenix Charter Academy Network located in Boston before moving back down to the South Shore with her husband and two children.

Colleen is the Director of Operations and has worked for Daniel J. Galli & Associates for over 10 years. She manages all of the details of the daily running of our office.  She is responsible for ensuring that our clients receive the highest possible level of attention and service.

She works with our clients and our planners to streamline communications, plan implementation, and client needs. She also assists our Certified Financial Planners™ practitioners in developing financial plans. She is fully securities licensed and holds her FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations.

Colleen also oversees our financial planning software program providing client and planner support as well as overseeing and managing client connections, communications and information processing. This software allows us to deliver holistic financial planning to select clients providing them with a complete picture of their financial situation and financial plans developed by our planners.

Colleen was born and raised in Kingston, MA where she lives today with her husband Ken and their three children Jacob, Jillian and Brody.

Karen is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and Director of Financial Planning at Daniel J. Galli & Associates.  She has worked in the fields of financial planning and wealth management since 1995, advising clients on all a wide range of topics including investment management, retirement planning, tax management, insurance coverage, college planning, and charitable giving.

For more than twenty years, Karen has served clients at several independent, boutique Boston-area wealth management firms, including six years as Director and then Vice President at Sapers & Wallack in Newton; a year as Senior Relationship Manager at Lexington Wealth Management in Lexington; ten years as Vice President and Relationship Manager at Tanager Financial Services in Waltham (which was subsequently sold to Wachovia and then Wells Fargo), and four years at Applegarth Advisory Group in Winchester.

Karen has been an active member of the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts for several years, and currently serves on the board of the FPA of Massachusetts as its Women’s Initiative Director.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Russian Civilization from Smith College and has been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certificant since 2002.

Karen is active in the town of Natick and serves in several leadership positions at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church there. She lives in Natick with her husband and three children.

Dan is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and founder of Daniel J. Galli & Associates. Dan began his financial services career over 30 years ago following a successful career as a public school teacher. His practice includes a wide range of advisory services including investment management and financial planning. Dan focuses on retirement planning for professionals, small business owners, teachers and other individuals. He designs qualified retirement plans with a focus on maximizing savings and reducing taxes. He is a registered representative and investment advisory associate of Ameritas Investment Corp. (AIC) with FINRA Series 7, 63, 66, and 24 registrations.

Dan also works with PFE Advisors, LLC. He travels nationally for PFE, providing educational workshops for employees of companies such as Northern Trust, Forrester Research, Dunkin Brands, MathWorks, Akamai, The Broad Institute, Archdiocese of Boston and others.

From 1997 to 2005, he served as an adjunct faculty member on the staff of Northeastern University in Boston, teaching courses in their CFP® program on Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits as well as Insurance and Financial Planning. In 2005, he became a guest lecturer at Boston University, teaching Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits. Dan has also taught the Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits portion of the Kaplan/Bisys/BU Review for the CFP® Comprehensive Examination. He also updates Boston University’s on-line Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits course as tax laws, regulations and limits are changed.

Dan has been featured in the Boston Sunday Herald as part of their Money Makeover series on individual financial planning and has been quoted in the Boston Globe and on-line for Kiplinger’s, CBS Marketwatch as well as other major print and on-line publications. 

Dan is a long time member of the Financial Planning Association of MA and has served on several committees, the Board of Directors and as President of the FPA of MA for two years. He was named Financial Planner of the Year in 2017. 

Dan holds a B.S. from Boston University and an M.Ed from Bridgewater State College. He taught at Hatherly School in Scituate, Massachusetts for 11 years prior to beginning his financial services career. Dan is also a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) as well as a Certified Financial Planner™. He passed the CFP® Comprehensive Examination in 1997.

Dan lives in Marshfield, Massachusetts with his wife Louise and has two grown children, Michael and Lauren.

 

*Candidates for the FPA Financial Planner of the Year must be a current FPA member and a CFP® practitioner in good standing who is experienced in financial planning topics and currently preparing comprehensive plans.  In addition, candidates must also demonstrate one of the following: history of involvement in the FPA of MA, community service, career development for new financial planners or advocacy on behalf of the profession.
